Mike Roach serves as a Board Observer at Vheda Health, a virtual health engagement company focused on accelerating health equity through simple access to care. Mike brings 35+ years of experience to the role as an accomplished healthcare executive leading successful growth teams for multiple companies including health plans (Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina, Anthem-Elevance), specialty companies focused on disease management, medical devices, genetics, precision medicine, clinical trials, etc., leading some towards successful exits. His experience with both health plans and health systems gives him a unique perspective in understanding best the needs of both the payer and the provider. Currently, he leads a local growth fund focused on securing capital for healthcare technology companies looking to commercialize into health plan, provider, and life science market segments. Mike resides in Chapel Hill, NC, and enjoys time with his family, traveling, hiking, biking, tennis, and golf.
